Diddy was rushed to hospital after experiencing knee pain, sources have confirmed. The music executive, who is currently incarcerated, was taken to the Brooklyn Hospital Center for an MRI scan.
The rapper has a history of knee issues and has undergone multiple surgeries in the past. In 2018, he revealed on Instagram that he had undergone knee replacement surgery, joking that he was “clumsy” and prone to accidents.
Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, declined to comment on the hospital visit, citing confidentiality concerns. A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson also refused to comment, citing privacy and security reasons.
The hospital visit comes as Diddy awaits his trial on federal sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. The trial is set to begin on May 5.
Diddy has been denied bail three times and remains incarcerated.
Sources close to the rapper have reported that his prison stint is taking a toll on his physical and mental health. However, Diddy’s team has maintained that he is “fit, healthy, and fully focused on his defense.”
