Jadon Sancho has been labelled a ‘troublemaker’ by Bayern Munich’s legend who explained why Bundesliga champions would never consider transfer deal.
Mario Basler is well-remembered by the Red Devils faithful, as he found the net for Bayern on that fateful night at Camp Nou where Sir Alex Ferguson’s United secured their treble by winning the 1999 Champions League final.
He believes that the English winger will not be pursued by the Bavarians, as his personality does not match the ethos of the club.
Sancho has been in first-team exile after he publicly called out his manager Erik ten Hag on social media for dropping him from the matchday squad in early September and the Dutch tactician has thereby explained that the decision has been made to protect the “culture” of the club.
It has been reported that despite being in exile Sancho has not been punctual and has missed sessions at Carrington where he is training with the academy players.
Attitude
Basler, 51, said to The Sun: “Bayern are very strict.
“When they sign a player, his personality will have to fit in with the club.
“Sancho may be a good footballer but Bayern would not sign him because he’s not what they look for in a person.
“Sancho was already a troublemaker in Dortmund.
“His attitude is a problem, and he has to change it.”
Ten Hag remains adamant that Sancho will not be re-integrated into the squad until the England international submits his apology to the coach.
However, that remains unlikely, as the footballer seems to be looking for a fresh challenge after being left out in the cold for several months.

Sancho played his last match for United in their 3-2 defeat against Nottingham Forest on August 26.
Overall, he has had just 76 minutes under his belt in this campaign in three appearances, all from the bench.
