He emphasised that he would never turn away from the ways of his forefathers.

In his passionate post, Edochie expressed disappointment over the growing trend of Africans abandoning their indigenous beliefs due to societal pressure and fear of criticism.

Also, he condemned the rejection of African spirituality, describing it as an “abomination.

Because of fear of what people will say, Africans are running away from their powerful African religion and their originality. Abomination!!! I will NEVER abandon the ways of my forefathers. It is built on truth, transparency, and fairness,” he wrote.

He further solidified his stance by proclaiming his traditional titles.

He refers to himself as “ISI MMILI JI OFOR,” “EZEDIKE 1,” “ALUSI NA EJE UKA,” and “OKALA MMADU OKALA MMUO,”

The actor’s statement has generated mixed reactions across social media.

While some fans applauded his dedication to African traditions, others questioned his stance, especially given his past claims of being a minister of God.
