Alveena events company was dealt a huge blow by Nigeria.
In a sad turnout of events, the creative director of Alveena events, Oladipupo Akinyemi revealed how the company went from 100 to little within three days.
According to Oladipupo, his company received a 48-hour notice of vacation from their workspace which had been in operation for ten years.
“On Saturday, August 17th, our organization was devastated to receive a letter demanding we vacate our facility within Emerald Park @theemeraldpark park, Garki Area 3, within 48 hours.
“The facility, which had housed 10 years’ worth of our team’s hard work and creative output, has been redesigned for use as a public institution, ( Magistrate Court / Complex) purpose.
“Reeling from the shock of this abrupt notice, we frantically searched for an alternative space that could accommodate our materials.
However, Oladipupo said the bulldozers arrived on Monday morning, breaching the perimeter before they could secure a new location.
Furthermore, he said their neighbouring colleagues @optionainternational, who operated businesses in the same park, were the first victims, as their properties near the gate were compromised.
In addition, Akinyemi said on Monday evening, they had managed to obtain a new facility and began the arduous process of relocating their belongings with a heavy heart.
”As we carefully transported fragile items and props to our new workspace and other venues, our hearts sank.
“On Wednesday, as we prepared line of trailers to continue the move, a swarm of scavengers descended upon the property, overpowering the few police officers and vigilantes present.

”The scavengers looted everything in sight – chandeliers, metal props, fabrics, marquee covers, shelves, office equipment, doors, electronics, flowers, chairs, tables,
and even the cages housing three foreign guard dogs, with the dogs inside.
“The scale of the destruction and theft was devastating, a tremendous loss of our hard-earned assets.
”Our creative director urgently contacted the
Commissioner of Police, who swiftly deployed reinforcements.
However, the damage had already been done. We are still in the process of moving the remaining items, but the looting continues unabated as of this evening.
This is an unimaginably difficult situation for our organization.
Furthermore, the abrupt displacement, followed by the brazen looting and destruction of our property, has left us reeling with a profound sense of loss and violation.”

In addition, the creative director expressed his emotional toll of the ordeal on the team while doing what they could to salvage the situation.
The popular Alveena events which was the go-to vendor for the events of celebrities and notable individuals like Sharon Ooja are now seeking for funds via GoFundMe to help the company get back up on its feet.
