It is no news that Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, cooked for over 100 hours, as she pushes to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual.
She prepared over 120 meals non-stop for four days. In fact, people at the venue ate, ate and ate from her table.
Just in case, like many others, you are wondering how Hilda was able to keep cooking different kinds of meals without running out of ideas, there was a strategy she adopted.
Did you know that Hilda Baci split her cook-a-thon into different rounds, and each round, which lasted about 12 hours, had menus she used to prepare the meals?
Her team added a few meals to cover short time periods in between her cooking, like:
- Yam chips served with sausages, sweet mayo and pepper sauce
- Stir-fried noodles served with egg balls
Those who tasted her meals testified that they were delicious all through, despite the fatigue her body felt as the cook-a-thon went on.
It is a delight to know that the foods she prepared were Nigerian delicacies. It goes to say that you cannot exhaust our meals if you want to try.
