Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Wunmi Toriola have emerged as the highest-grossing lead actresses in 2024, according to FilmOne’s announcement on Instagram.
Funke Akindele secured the top position with her film “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” while Wunmi Toriola followed closely with “Queen Lateefah.”
Toyin Abraham ranked third with “Alakada Bad and Boujee,” and Tomike Adeoye took fourth place with “Ajosepo.”
Eniola Ajao rounded out the top five with “Beast of Two Worlds: Ajakaju.”
Other notable actresses on the list include Kehinde Bankole, Adunni Ade, Uche Nwaefuna, Regina Daniel, and Gbugbemi Ejeye.
These achievements highlight the significant contributions of these actresses to Nollywood’s success in 2024.
