Nigeria’s Falconets have been drawn into Group D for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, where they will face former champions Germany, Venezuela and South Korea.
The draw ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in Bogotá, Colombia.
This year marks the first time the competition will feature 24 teams, with matches set to be held in four venues across three cities: Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali.
The new format will see the top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, advancing to the Round of 16.
The Falconets finished as runners-up in the 2010 and 2014 editions of the competition.
The tournament will be held from 31 August to 22 September in Colombia.
