On Wednesday, August 7, a trending video claiming that President Bola Tinubu, addressed Nigerians for the second time in a week over the lingering #EndBadGovernance protest rocking the country surfaced.
This video spread like wildfire and in no time, it became a topic of discussion among Nigerians home and abroad.
Now, the presidency has dismissed the said video showing President Tinubu addressing Nigerians as an old video.
It was the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who made this clarification.
Onanuga spoke via a post on his X account, noting that the trending video is not new.
