Drama as suspended Lagos lawmaker blocked from assembly complex

One of the suspended lawmakers, Mr. Moshood Oshun ( Lagos Mainland 2), was blocked from gaining entrance into the Assembly Complex this night around 8:20pm.

Oshun, who was sighted making frantic effort to gain entrance, were blocked by the security agencies who were believed to be working on instruction.

After several moves by the suspended lawmaker, he was finally turned back and drove off.

Also, the sacked Deputy Majority Leader, Mr. Wahab Jimoh, was blocked from gaining entrance when he arrived around 8:40pm

It will be recalled that the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, suspended two lawmakers, Mr. Moshood Lanre Oshun and Mr. Kazeem Raheed Olawale, for gross misconduct during plenary session on Monday.

Also, 26 members of the House of Assembly in a voice vote removed the Chief Whip, Mr. Rotimi Abiru and Deputy Majority Leader, Mr. Wahab Jimoh.

Sources disclosed that some members loyal to Obasa are currently holding meeting to get replacement for the sacked Chief Whip and Deputy Majority Leader positions, also get a replacement for the Committees headed by the suspended lawmakers.
