Some directors of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have been handed termination letters with the merger of some directorates in the authority.
Investigation revealed that after an emergency meeting on Wednesday by Hadi Sirika, the Aviation Minister, the directors affected were handed their termination letters.
One of the Directors in charge of the Consumer Protection earlier resigned last week and his resignation letter was accepted at the meeting.

Wednesday’s meeting has seen the merger of the Consumer Protection Directorate, (CPD), with the Directorate of Air Transport Regulation, (DATR) and General Aviation merged with Directors of Air Worthiness Standards DAWS.
Others merged are the Directorate of Operations and Training, (DOTS) merged with Directorate of Licensing Standards
