“Mr commissioner respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us !! Make we all kuku mad !! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post u everyday everywhere Mr man !!! Try me fvcker.” He wrote on his X account

Davido had hurled insults at Abba, accusing him of unprofessionalism and disrespecting the rule of law amid the ongoing LG crisis in Osun.

However, after further review, Davido discovered Abba’s “genuine efforts” to maintain peace in Osun and commended him for supporting the rule of law.

Davido admitted that his initial anger over the “needless killings” led him to attack the commissioner.

He stated, “The bloodshed of today infuriated me so much that I heaped all the blame on the Commissioner of Police.

I now see that the issue is more than that of the Commissioner of Police or other security chiefs.”

Davido expressed appreciation for Abba’s efforts, saying, “We did not know the Commissioner of Police had been having sleepless nights alongside other commanders.

This is a grave oversight and I want to declare that his support for rule of law and protection of peace in Osun state is hereby acknowledged and appreciated.”

Davido stressed the need for peaceful elections, calling it a “crowning glory” for politicians and security chiefs. He encouraged all efforts to make the upcoming local government election on February 22nd violence-free.

The Osun state violence began on Monday, February 17, 2025, after supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed over the  attempted resumption of sacked APC LG chairmen who were trying to reclaim their seats following a court of appeal verdict.
