Afro Nation is gearing up for its fifth-anniversary edition in 2025, and the lineup is already generating buzz. Africa’s biggest music stars, Tems , Davido, Burna Boy, will headline the festival, which takes place from July 9 to July 11 in Portugal.
The festival has announced a fresh wave of headliners, including Ayra Starr, Franglish, Gabzy, Tiakola, and Inoss’B. These additions bring even more energy and excitement to the already impressive lineup.
The Piano People stage has also revealed its lineup, featuring Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Vigro Deep, Mörda, Oskido, KMAT, Shakes & Les, and Rosey Gold.
In a second wave of announcements, Qing Madi has also been added to the bill.
Burna Boy is no stranger to Afro Nation, having been part of the festival’s journey since its debut in 2019. His return to the festival in 2025 comes after a whirlwind year of breaking records and pushing boundaries.
Tems, on the other hand, will make her Afro Nation Portugal headliner debut in 2025.
Afro Nation has evolved from a festival to a cultural movement, amplifying the voices of African artists on a global platform.
Since its inception on the beaches of Portimão in 2019, the festival has grown exponentially, featuring past headliners like Wizkid and Davido.
