Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has reportedly ended his relationship with Valentina Cervantes, his childhood sweetheart and the mother of their two children.
The couple first met in Argentina and built a life together.
They welcomed their two children in March 2020 and October 2023.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Enzo Fernandez is said to have expressed his desire to “live alone,”
Valentina Cervantes later addressed their separation on social media.
She confirmed the split in a heartfelt Instagram story.
“Enzo and I have decided to take some distance from each other today,” she wrote.
“But we will always be family and support each other in everything, especially as we have two children who need a lot of love from us.”
She continued: “I know the person Enzo is, what an excellent father he is, and the heart he has. And that is enough for me. Please don’t try to create conflicts where there are none.”
