Coleen Rooney Reveals Abuse Kai Receives
Coleen Rooney has revealed the abuse that son Kai has to contend with on the field, as opponents have told him that his father Wayne was “sh*t”.
Ex-England captain Wayne Rooney is looking for his oldest child to follow in illustrious footsteps at Manchester United.
Kai, who is now 15 years of age, forms part of the Red Devils’ academy system and has registered over 50 goals for the club at youth level.
He appears to have inherited finishing prowess from his famous father, who is United’s all-time leading scorer, while also boasting a similarly fiery temper.
That can get the better of him at times, particularly when rivals are attempting to get inside his head and disrupt his game.
‘Your dad’s sh*t’
Coleen Rooney has told the Stick to Football podcast from Sky Bet of the jibes that her son has to try and learn to deal with: “A few years ago, I remember my son Kai took a penalty at St George’s Park, where we were for a tournament.
“It went to penalties, Kai stepped up and just skied it.
“Afterwards I asked him how he could take a penalty like that, and he told me he was just fuming as the goalkeeper was saying ‘Your dad’s sh*t’, and he got dead angry.
“It doesn’t happen to him very often, but it did then, and you can see in some games where they give you a little push.
“He’s strong-minded though and usually shrugs it off.”

However, taunts are something that Kai Rooney is going to have to get accustomed to facing, as his dad – who was recently relieved of managerial duties at Championship side Plymouth – once did.
With time still on his side when it comes to forging a professional career at senior level, he can use that passion as competitive fuel, rather than allowing it to become a distraction.\

Carlos Refutes Claims He’s Sleeping At Real Madrid After Divorce
Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has cleared the air after it was speculated that he had been sleeping at club’s training ground after his divorce.
Reports claimed the Brazilian icon had temporarily moved to the Valdebebas facility after separating from his wife, Mariana Luccon.
The couple, who wed in June 2009, have two daughters together – Manuela and Mariana.
According to the reports, Luccon remains in the family’s main home, while her parents are reportedly residing in another of Carlos’ properties.
The divorce is said to be complex, primarily due to the left-back’s significant wealth, estimated at £133 million ($166m).
Carlos took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to categorically refute the claims about his living arrangements.
In a detailed statement, the former footballer expressed his frustration with what he called “false and damaging stories.”
Carlos wrote on X: “In recent days, I have become aware of false and damaging stories circulating about me and my family.
“While I value privacy, I feel compelled to address the baseless rumours about my living situation.
“These fabricated stories are entirely false and seem designated to generate clicks.
“I remain at a private residence, supported by members of my family.
“My legal team is reviewing these claims and will take appropriate action.
“I ask for privacy regarding personal matters and thank those who continue to support me during this time.”

Carlos’ personal life has previously made headlines.
A decade ago, the former left-back startingly revealed that he has 11 children with seven different women.
At the time, he candidly shared: “Now I live with Manuela and I have several around.
“I have seven in Brazil.
“I have one in Mexico, I have one in Hungary who lives in Alicante and the others live in Brazil.”

However, Carlos is widely regarded as one of the greatest left-backs in football history.
During his illustrious 11-year spell at Real Madrid, he played a pivotal role in securing numerous titles for the club, including three Champions League trophies and four La Liga crowns.
While it remains to be seen how the divorce settlement will be resolved, Carlos is keen to move forward without allowing false rumours to tarnish his legacy or disrupt his family life.

Napoli Set To Make Shock Bid For Chelsea Outcast
Napoli are gearing up to make a bid to sign Cesare Casadei from Chelsea in January, a report says.
Casadei, who joined Chelsea from Inter in 2022, has been linked with a return to Italy in recent weeks as Torino tried and failed to reach an agreement with the Blues.
Napoli have become the new favourites to sign him, Gianluca Di Marzio reports they are all set to table an opening bid.
Casadei has hardly featured for Chelsea this season as coach Enzo Maresca has only given him playing time in the Conference League and Carabao Cup.
Last season, the midfielder managed 11 Premier League appearances before he was loaned to Maresca’s Leicester side, featuring 22 times as they won the Championship.
Napoli coach Antonio Conte was in charge at Inter while Casadei was part of the youth academy and the 21-year-old fits the profile the ex-Chelsea manager is looking for, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, Napoli have a slender lead at the top of Serie A and hope to strengthen their midfield options to boost their hopes of winning the title.

With no return to Maresca’s squad in sight for Casadei, the Italy Under-21 international will hope Napoli can strike a deal with the Stamford Bridge side soon.

Bentancur Provides Update After Sickening Fall
Rodrigo Bentancur has confirmed he is “all good” after worryingly collapsing to the ground unchallenged during Tottenham’s win over Liverpool.
In the opening minutes of Tottenham’s 1-0 victory against Liverpool in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final, Bentancur fell to the turf in worrisome fashion. He had gone up to meet a Spurs corner with a diving header, but missed the ball completely and collapsed to the floor with no one around him.
Medical staff were quickly called onto the pitch, with the Uruguayan receiving oxygen through a mask before being stretchered off after eight minutes of treatment.
Tottenham provided a positive update regarding Bentancur’s condition at half-time, confirming he was on his way to hospital for further examination but was conscious and talking.
Taking to Instagram in the early hours of Thursday morning, Bentancur posted a story to confirm he was feeling better and on the mend.
“All good, guys!” he wrote. “Thank you for the messages!!! Congratulations [for] the victory boys!!!”

In the absence of Bentancur, Ange Postecoglou’s side went on to secure a fine win against top opposition, with Wednesday’s 1-0 triumph a far better showing against Arne Slot’s Reds than last month’s harrowing 6-3 defeat.
Lucas Bergvall scored the game’s only goal, sweeping home at the end of a fine team move only minutes after the visitors wanted him sent off for a second bookable offence.

Tottenham return to action on Sunday with a trip to non-league outfit Tamworth in round three of the FA Cup.
The club could provide a further update on Bentancur’s wellbeing prior to then, while Postecoglou will likely be asked about him at a pre-match press conference later this week.
