Cardi B has disclosed that she and Offset are making progress in co-parenting their three children, months after filing for divorce from the Migos rapper for the second time.
Speaking during a live X Spaces session, the rapper revealed they have recently been on good terms and are working towards a healthier co-parenting relationship.
“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” Cardi B said. “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is really healthy co-parenting.”
Cardi B, 31, and Offset, 33, are parents to daughter Kulture, 6, son Wave, 3, and their youngest daughter, born in September.
The couple, who married in 2017, first faced a split in September 2020 when Cardi filed for divorce. Although they reconciled, she filed again in July this year, stating the separation was not due to cheating rumours but had been a long time coming.
Over the weekend, the two were spotted at the same Miami club, leading to speculation about their relationship status. Cardi described the past week as unusually calm and hopeful for their future dynamic.
“We’ve been really happy. I feel like this week has been the least dramatic week,” she disclosed. “For the past three months, it’s been drama, arguing, and craziness. But this week, there’s been no drama, no nonsense. It’s getting to the point where everybody’s moving on in a healthy way.”
Despite the challenges, Cardi B noted she has been feeling “really great” recently, signalling a positive shift after months of post-divorce tension.
