With the rambling notion, especially amongst Nigerians that he/she will never marry a woman/man that is not a member of his/her church, Pastor Reno Omokri, ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Thursday aired his view on the topic.
Reno who is well known as #BuhariTomentor, and a vocal speaker, advised Nigerian-Christian youths to be careful of what they practice as Christianity, nothing that nobody owns any church except Jesus Christ.
Disclosing this via his verified Twitter handle, the outspoken Reno opined:

“Dear Christian,
How can you say you can’t marry someone unless he or she leaves their church to attend yours? Are you okay? My church, your church, their church.
“What nonsense! Don’t you realise that there is supposed to be only One God, One Christ and One Church? The church you attend is not your church or your pastor’s church, or your denomination’s church. It is either Christ’s Church, or it is NO CHURCH.
“Christ died for the world, not your congregation! Stop discriminating based on denomination or nation.”
