Omorodion, is a promising talent who spent last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 37 games.

Chelsea is seeking a new striker to alleviate the scoring burden on Cole Palmer, and Omorodion is considered a low-cost alternative to Joshua Zirkzee, valued at €40 million.

However, Atlético Madrid is unwilling to sell, and Omorodion’s impressive performances have also attracted interest from AC Milan, Napoli, AS Roma, and West Ham.

Born to Nigerian parents, Omorodion has shown allegiance to his native Spain, representing the under-19 and under-21 Spanish national teams.

He said, “Spain has given me the opportunity and I am very grateful for it. “I don’t think about Nigeria. My goal is to debut with the senior side and have my career in Spain.”
