There is so much to talk about when it comes to Lagos. The ports, the entertainment, etc.
However, this does not form the spine of this article.
For now, we are concerned about who built Lagos to its now successful standard, an argument that has gotten tongues wagging on social media.
This debate has been on for a very long time with no end in sight.
On Friday, things got heated up after a Nigerian real estate mogul tweeted via X that Tinubu did not build anything in Lagos.
To the X user, it was Akinwunmi Ambode who built and modernized Oshodi.
The Challenge
He challenged Lagosians and supporters of Tinubu to show what Tinubu built in Lagos.
Ambode was a one term executive governor of Lagos state (2015-2019).
Rumours circulating the state has it that he was removed by Bola Tinubu and replaced by Sanwo Olu, because he allegedly refused to sign wasteful contracts and mismanage funds at the order of Bola Tinubu.
