Abba Kyari, suspended Head of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to allegations of fraud and conspiracy levelled against him by the United States court.
He made his plea before the Joseph Egbunike-led panel set up by the police to investigate allegations made by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The under fire supercop denied receiving an N8 million bribe from Ramon Abbas, the confessed fraudster popularly known as Hushpuppi.

The FBI had served the Nigeria Police an arrest warrant for Kyari over his alleged involvement in a $1.1 million fraud perpetrated by Husspuppi.
The panel probing Kyari is expected to review his submission next week after which the report and recommendations would be submitted to Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police.
