The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo on Saturday welcomed former president, Olusegun Obasanjo to his state.
He received the former president at the Anambra International Airport in Umueri.
Although his visit to the state has caused a stir on social media, as many questioned why the former president visited the state.
Town Hall Meeting
The former president was in Anambra State to attend a town hall meeting.
In that town hall meeting, Soludo will present his first-anniversary scorecard.
The event is scheduled to take place at the International Convention Center, Awka, the state capital.

One Year In Office
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on November 10, 2021, declared Soludo the governor of Anambra State.
The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) who was sworn in on March 17, 2022, marked one year in office last week.
Also, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, is in town for the meeting.
