The Accord Party in Rivers State is looking for a member of its party that has been abducted.
Chukwudi Ogbonna is a candidate for the Accord Party that is vying for a political position in the March 18 State House of Assembly election.
He is wants to represent Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area Constituency 2.
But the party is saying it has not been able to reach him since Monday night.
According to reports, Mr. Ogbonna was abducted by gunmen.
The gunmen reportedly forced him to halt while he was driving in Rumuigbo, close to Port Harcourt, and then took off with his car.

Ifeaka Nwakiri, a brother of the candidate’s cousin, verified the incident on Tuesday morning.
He said: “They abducted him with his Mercedes car.
“We have informed the Kala Police of the situation”.
