The president-elect and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has received his Certificate of Return.
He got his certificate of return few hours after he was declared winner of the presidential election.
It is the first time that he is holding a certificate bearing his name as the president-elect of Nigeria.
His vice, Kashim Shettima, also received his Certificate of Return at the event held in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

Bola Tinubu, who is 70, polled 8,794,726 votes in the election.
His closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), garnered 6,984,520 votes.
