The political transition by way of election is not really going down well in some parts of Nigeria. Protests are springing up again and this time they are not as a result of Naira scarcity.
The results of the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly election so far, continues to spark outrage leading to massive protest in various parts of Nigeria.

Earlier, videos of a massive protest staged by residents of Delta State emerged.
The reason for the protest bothers on allegations against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The electoral body is being accused of corruption and irregularities in the election.
Also, the protesters are accusing the commission of deliberately manipulating election results.
Joining in the protest, residents of Abuja take to the streets to express their anger and dissatisfaction over INEC’s performance.
INEC Chairman Must Be Fired
The protesters did not just parade the streets as usual, rather, this time, they demand the sack of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu.
A video making the rounds on Tuesday, shows youths in their hundreds with placard singing in chorus that the electoral body must use the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to collate the election results.

According to the angry youths, the INEC chairman so far has failed to implement the law and must be fired.
The voice behind the video said, “INEC use the BVAS, the BVAS, our votes must count o, INEC chairman must be fired.”
The Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilisation captioned the video, “Protest ongoing in Abuja over @inecnigeria fraudulent election results.”
