Ghanaians are in celebration mood.
They are celebrating the life of their star, Christian Atsu.
Things were already getting gloomy, as news spread that the footballer was missing after the earthquake spread.
The footballer was part of the Magpies team which won promotion back to the Premier League in 2017 after joining on loan for the season from Chelsea, and later completed a permanent move.
The 31-year-old Ghanaian is now playing his football with Turkish Super League, Hatayspor.
He was reported missing after teammates and members of the club’s technical staff had reportedly been pulled out from rubble.
