Recall that over the weekend, the National Youth Leader of APC, Dayo Israel, stirred controversy following the inauguration of a campaign group called the ‘Jagaban Army’.

According to him, the Jagaban Army is a group of youths who would mobilize and deliver the needed votes for Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming election.

The uniform worn by members of the group has similarities with that of Nigerian security uniforms.

However, some netizens on the microblogging platform, Twitter, called on the attention of the Nigerian Police force, stating that the move is troubling and there is a tendency that other political parties might want to do likewise.

Others also averred that the move is a threat to national security which is capable of brewing tension and chaos.

Reacting via his Twitter page, Muyiwa Adejobi said he is unaware of the ‘Jagaban Army’ and would make findings about it.

He wrote: “Well, i am not aware of this. I will make findings about this. Its strange to me as a person, and i am sure the Force too is not aware of this. But anyone with more information about this can send to our official email, Pressforabuja@police.gov.ng. thanks.”
