The Labour Party has named Akin Osuntokun, a former presidential aide, as the new Director-General (DG) of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
Osuntokun succeeds Doyin Okupe, who recently resigned as director-general of the party’s presidential campaign council for Peter Obi.
Akin Osuntokun was the campaign council’s Zonal Coordinator (South) until recently.
Osuntokun, a former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), served as Political Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo and as Director of the People’s Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign in 2011.
