About 19 people have been killed in a fire inside a road tunnel in Afghanistan, and many others have reportedly been injured.
According to reports, an oil tanker overturned and caught fire in the Salang Tunnel, on Saturday evening.
The fire spread to other cars and was not put out completely until Sunday morning.
Pictures circulating on social media showed cars destroyed after the fire.

A senior health official in Parwan told AFP news agency that some of the bodies were burned beyond recognition.
“Among the dead, it was very hard to identify who was a male and who was a female,” Abdullah Afghan Mal said, a senior health official said.
Another official said about 32 people have died and the casualties may still increase.
A similar fire in the tunnel in 1982 killed at least 400 people, although reports estimates that the casualties are in thousands.
