The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has signed an Executive Order for the compulsory installation and use of CCTV devices in all public and private institutions in the state.
This was said in a statement made on Saturday by Richard Olatunde, the governor’s chief press secretary.
The statement claims that the order became necessary due to the rising level of insecurity in the nation and the requirement to safeguard the security of people’s lives and property at all public and private institutions and centers throughout the state.
