Music star, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has recently won two awards at the 2021 MOBO Award on December 5, 2021.
The event was held at Coventry Building Society Arena, the music star bagged ‘Best Africa Act’ and ‘Best International act’ respectively.

However, the awards have increased Wizkid’s trophies at the MOBO to five.

Wizkid floors other stars, including Burna Boy, Davido, CKay, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Tems, NSG, King Promise, and Ayra Starr to win Best African Act.
He also beat Kanye West, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Polo G, Rema, Skillibeng, and Young Stoner Life (Young Thug & Gunna) to win the Best International act.
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin, also known as the MOBOs) are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in “music of black origin”, including hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.
Singer Tiwa Savage was among music stars who showed up at the award ceremony.
But many of the winners were absent – including Wizkid and Dave, who won the best album of the year.
Highlights of the ceremony will be screened on BBC One on Wednesday, 8 December at 22:35 GMT, along with previously unseen backstage footage.
