Nigerian-American DJ Expression is gearing up for a historic attempt at the Guinness World Record for the longest DJ set.
He plans to perform continuously for 300 hours between September 21 and October 4, 2025, at NOSH Lounge in Houston, Texas.

The event will be livestreamed on Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok.
This will give fans across the globe front-row access to his remarkable endurance and creativity.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, DJ Expression wrote:
“Guys! It’s @djexpression, and here is the real reason I’m taking you on this INSANE 300-HOUR NON-STOP DJ marathon to break the Guinness World Records™ title! This journey means EVERYTHING to me, and together I believe we can break the boundaries. From Sept 21st to Oct 4th at @noshhtx (14144 Westheimer Rd, Houston TX 77077), I’m bringing the heat, the soul, and creating a legacy. Let’s make history together – watch, share, and roll with me.”
The current record holder for the longest DJ set is DJ Obi, who performed for 240 hours in 2016.
Other notable names include Norberto Loco, who played for 200 hours in 2014, and Nigerian DJ Yin, who set a new record with 243 hours and 30 minutes in 2021 despite facing amnesia, health struggles, and extreme stress.
DJ Yin received support from stars like Tiwa Savage, Niniola, and Davido during her marathon.
DJ Expression’s attempt is expected to push the boundaries of human endurance and artistic expression.
He delivers a seamless mix of genres that blend timeless classics with modern hits, showcasing his versatility behind the turntables.
