Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia has taken to social media to pen an emotional tribute to his close friend Sound Sultan.
Sound Sultan passed away on July 11, 2021 at age 44 after battling with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which is a group of related cancers that affect the lymphatic system.

2Baba via his Instagram page shared a photo of the singer and penned a tribute to his late friend.
According to him, he will never stop celebrating Sound Sultan and promised to keep his family safe and good.
He wrote:
“Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother. Still so unreal. Will never stop celebrating u. I promise u your fam will be safe and good. #GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life,”
