The Lagos State Government has disclosed plans to develop an ultramodern 2.1 Hectares medical park on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi area of the state.
It said the facility which is envisioned to be a solution to recurring healthcare challenges, was close to securing investors.
The project was one of 21 highlighted projects supervised by the Office of Public Private Partnerships, and disclosed to newsmen during the commemoration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s second year in office, at the State Secretariat on Tuesday.
Director-General of the OPPP, Mr Ope George, said the project was on course, and it would breathe life to the abandoned environment.
Other projects mentioned include; Ilubirin Estate, fourth mainland bridge, imota power project, Alaro city, JJT car park, Artezia traffic violation management system, Lagos bike share scheme, E-health smart health platform, Maternal and child centre, LASU ultramodern hostel facilities, Lagos aquaculture centre of excellence, Lagos Island toll road project, Eko Token, provision of cloud infrastructure and web portal for online gathering and registration of real estate agents and transaction-landlord technologies, waltzing water park, CBT coral estate limited, development of luxury apartment at GRA Ikeja, Lagos, JK Randle centre and truck traffic management solution.
