News Now: Osun JUSUN Shut Down As Strike PersistsMembers of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter have grounded all court activities in the state to drive their demand for financial autonomy for the judiciary.

The National body of the union had directed a nationwide Strike was upon expiration of a 21-day ultimatum given to the government on full implementation of judicial autonomy in the country.

The Osun State Chapter of the union, was at the Federal and State High Courts as well as the Industrial Court in Osogbo to effect the Industrial action.

The Chairman Osun chapter Gbenga Eludire Addressing the judicial staff, remarked that all forms of criminal activities in Nigeria were as a result of neglect of the judiciary, hence, there is the need for the full implementation of its autonomy.
