A total of 152 patients of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have been discharged from various hospitals across the nation, as another 35 new cases have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 442, with 13 death already recorded.
According to the NCDC, “Thirty-five new cases of COVID-19 have been reported as follows, 19 in Lagos, nine in Federal Capital Territory, FCT, five in Kano and two in Oyo State.

“As at 10:20 pm 16th April, there are 442 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 152 have been discharged with 13 deaths
“As at 10:20 pm 16th April, number of states with confirmed cases of COVID-19 is 19 including the FCT.
A breakdown of the development put Lagos at the top of the chart with 251, followed by FCT with 67, Kano 21, Osun 20, Edo 15 and Oyo State with 13 cases.
Others include Ogun- 9, Katsina- 7, Bauchi- 6, Kaduna- 6, Akwa Ibom- 6, Kwara- 4, Delta- 4, Ondo- 3, Enugu 2, Ekiti 2, Rivers 2, Niger 2, Benue- 1 and Anambra- 1.
