Frank Caprio, the much-loved television judge admired for his compassion and humanity, has passed away at the age of 88.
He died peacefully after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

His son, David Caprio, expressed gratitude to fans for their support.
Also, he urges them to honour his father’s memory by continuing to “spread a little kindness.”
Caprio rose to global recognition through his reality court TV show Caught in Providence.

Also, the courtroom series featured cases from traffic violations to minor offences, but it was Caprio’s empathy that captured millions of hearts worldwide.
An official statement on his Instagram confirmed his death, saying he was “beloved for his compassion, humility, and unwavering belief in the goodness of people.”

Caprio openly shared his journey with pancreatic cancer.
Also, he once posted a heartfelt TikTok video celebrating cancer survivors on National Cancer Survivors Day.
Just hours before his passing was announced, a photo of him in hospital was shared, thanking his supporters for their love.

Legacy and Emmy Nominations
Over the years, Caprio’s work earned critical recognition.
Also, he was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards.
This includes three for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program, and a 2024 nomination for Daytime Personality
