BREAKING: 2nd COVID-19 case in Africa occurs in Algeria

There seems to be more concern for Nigerians as the Country again on Friday, recorded additional five new cases of Coronavirus, code-named COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 70.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease control, NCDC, made this disclosure through its Twitter handle @ncdc.gov.

It stated that, “Out of the five new cases, three are in FCT and  two in Oyo State.

“As at 08:00 pm 27th March there are 70  cases of  confirmed #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.”

According to NCDC report, As at 8:00 pm 27th March, there are70 confirmed cases 3 discharged and 1 death.

For a breakdown of cases by states, Lagos- 44 FCT- 14, Ogun- 3, Ekiti- 1, Oyo- 3, Edo- 1, Bauchi- 2, Osun-1 and Rivers-1.
