Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has opened up about the team’s ongoing wait for the promised $100,000 payment.
In an interview, Ajibade revealed that despite assurances, the players have yet to receive any of the funds. She said many people assume the money had already been distributed, but that isn’t the case.

“We’ve not received anything. People even think they’ve already divided it for us, like share it, give us percentage and all that… but no. We are still waiting.
Hopefully, when they pay, you’ll see. Even bonuses and everything else are still a work in progress. We’ve not received anything yet,” she explained.
Her comments shed light on the delays affecting players’ expected earnings, highlighting challenges behind the scenes in women’s football.
