Davido has announced a change in the release date of his upcoming fifth album. Initially scheduled to drop on March 15, 2025, the album will now be released on April 18, 2025.
This delay comes as a surprise, especially since the album was expected to be released in just a few weeks.
Although Davido did not provide a reason for the change in release date, fans are eagerly awaiting the album’s arrival.
The past few months have been busy for Davido, who secured his fifth Grammy nomination at the 67th Grammys for his contribution to Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational’.
In addition to his Grammy nomination, Davido has also received five nominations at the upcoming 17th Headies, including Artist of the Year.
To build anticipation for the album, Davido has released two singles: ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley and ‘Funds’ featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck.
In 2024, Davido announced his new album, describing it as a heartfelt and personal project. “THE JOURNEY CONTINUES in 2025 with my new album, 5IVE!!
This one is straight from the heart – my story, my truth, my growth,” he wrote on social media.
With the album’s release just around the corner, fans are excited to experience Davido’s latest musical offering.
