Portable reportedly went into hiding after he and his associates allegedly assaulted officials from the OGPDPA who had visited his Odogwu Bar and Restaurant in Ogun State.

The officials were there to seal the property due to a lack of approved permits and insufficient air space.

However, Portable claimed that the government officials unlawfully arrested over 20 people, including artists and customers, and seized their belongings.

He denied the allegations of physical assault.

Also, he challenged the authorities to provide video evidence of the incident.

Despite his defense, the Ogun State Police Command swiftly took action.

The court granted them bail at ₦5 million each, pending further hearing on March 17.

According to him, he was being targeted and set up by unknown individuals.

He went as far as hinting at suicidal thoughts noting that the situation had become unbearable for him.
