Anthony Gordon trolled Arsenal with a brutal “stay humble” comment after Newcastle dumped the Gunners out of the Carabao Cup.

Earlier in the match, Myles Lewis-Skelly mimicked Haaland’s zen celebration after putting Arsenal 3-1 up, adding to the growing rivalry between the clubs.
Gordon has now joined the bandwagon and urged his teammates to “stay humble” in what seemed to be an apparent dig at Mikel Arteta & Co. after the victory.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, Gordon said: “It feels amazing.
“A proper team performance and we got the win.
“Our fans are never in question, they make it so difficult for the opposition and we did it the right way.
“We had a game plan we thought would work.
“Everyone knows we press.
“It is important for us to stay humble now.
“It will be a big occasion but it’s so far away.”

Newcastle’s triumph marks their third victory over Arsenal this season, with the Gunners failing to score in any of these encounters.
The victory also ensures their ticket to Wembley Stadium, where they will aim to clinch the Carabao Cup title after narrowly missing out last year against Manchester United.
