Taylor Swift will have an official role at the 2025 Grammy Awards, serving as a presenter at the ceremony. Swift, who is nominated in six categories, including album, record, and song of the year, is the first presenter to be announced for the show.
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah and will feature a range of special performances, including a salute to Quincy Jones and tributes to the spirit of Los Angeles.
Swift’s nominations this year include album of the year for “The Tortured Poets Department”, which could potentially earn her a record-extending fifth win in the category.
She is also nominated for record and song of the year and best music video for “Fortnight”, a collaboration with Post Malone.
Additionally, she is nominated for best pop vocal album for “The Tortured Poets Department” and best pop duo/group performance for Gracie Abrams’ “us.”, on which she is featured.
Swift has a long history with the Grammy Awards, having won 12 awards out of 42 nominations throughout her career. She has won album of the year four times, for “Fearless”, “1989”, “Folklore”, and “Evermore”.
She has also won record of the year and song of the year for “Bad Blood” and “You Need to Calm Down”, respectively.
This year’s Grammy Awards will also feature a range of other performers and presenters, including Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Beyoncé.
It will also carry an added sense of purpose, raising funds to support L.A. wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders.
