Speaking in an interview  the outspoken entertainer reacted to the ongoing marital troubles between music star 2Baba and his wife, actress Annie Idibia.

He expressed sympathy for the couple but urged public figures to stop making their personal struggles a topic for public discussion.

Charly Boy, who has been married for decades, said he believes in handling relationship issues behind closed doors. “I feel sorry for them.”

“It’s really unfortunate. But can we learn to keep our personal matters private? Social media has changed everything, but it’s still up to us to decide what we share,” he said.

Reflecting on his own marriage, the 73-year-old revealed that he and his wife have had disagreements, but they always resolve them in private.

“I’ve had quarrels with my partner, just like any other couple, but we settle them in our home—not on social media. That’s the way it should be.”

He added that if he ever decided to part ways with his wife, the public wouldn’t even know about it. “I won’t make noise about it,” he said firmly.
