Universal Music Group (UMG), organisers of the esteemed Grammys, have announced the cancellation of all events preceding and following the ceremony.

In an official statement shared on Instagram, UMG extended its heartfelt gratitude to first responders

Grammys statement recognised Los Angeles as a vital hub for the music industry and home to numerous artists, teams, and residents affected by the disaster.
“As part of our commitment to the community, we are cancelling the artist showcase and the post-Grammy party to focus our efforts on providing assistance to those impacted by this tragedy,” the statement read.
The wildfires displaced over 180,000 residents.
Also, it continue to cause widespread destruction across Los Angeles.
UMG’s decision to cancel these events reflects its dedication to prioritising humanitarian aid during such a challenging time.
