The Aboki crooner opened up about these struggles during a recent episode of the Listen’ podcast.

Ice Prince recounted the profound impact of losing both parents at a young age.

Also, he revealed that his father passed away when he was just 11 years old, and a decade later, at the age of 21, he lost his mother.

As the only son in his family, he found himself bearing the weight of responsibility for his extended family.

Despite these hardships, Ice Prince highlighted his unwavering faith and self-reliance.

I don’t have a mother or father. I’m an only son. That’s quite tough,” he shared. “I don’t have an uncle, aunty, godfather, or godmother that I depend on. It has been nothing but God in my life.

The rapper also shed light on his financial struggles during his formative years, including his inability to afford university education.

Furthermore, he recalled how a lack of 20,000 prevented him from paying his tuition and ultimately led to the loss of his admission.

I had about two weeks to pay that money, but I couldn’t raise it on time,” he explained.
