Shaboozey has been announced as a performer at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), airing on Thursday, 12 December.
Shaboozey will join an impressive line-up of previously announced acts, including SEVENTEEN, Teddy Swims, Tyla, Coldplay, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, and Stray Kids.
The artiste is a finalist in six categories at this year’s BBMAs, including Top New Artiste, Top Song Sales Artiste, and four nominations for his hit single, A Bar Song (Tipsy).
The track, which spent a record-tying 19 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, is vying for awards in Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song, Top Selling Song, and Top Country Song.
Shaboozey is set to deliver a special performance from W Hollywood. His third studio album, Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart in June.
The 2024 Billboard Music Awards to be hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, will be presented by Marriott Bonvoy and broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX and Fire TV Channels.
Leading the finalists for this year’s awards are Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter.
