Minister of Works, David Umahi, has once again inked his name in the bad books of Nigerians on and off social media.
As we speak, Umahi is currently facing the wrath of Nigerians.
Unlike others, Minister Umahi stirred up this social media backlash all by himself.
David Umahi, Tinubu’s minister had stormed Sokoto for the launch of phase 1B of the long-awaited Sokoto-Badagry expressway.
As expected, Umahi spoke to the people of Sokoto.
That was when Umahi sent the entire country into commotion after suggesting that the launch of phase 1B of the Sokoto-Badagry expressway could hinge on political outcomes in the 2027 elections.
While addressing the people, Umahi hinted at their support being crucial for the continuation of the project, indirectly linking road construction progress to campaign promises.
David Umahi In Trouble
Umahi acknowledged that while road construction projects have been delayed for decades, President Bola Tinubu finally initiated action on the expressway, a project first proposed 48 years ago.
Trust Nigerians, especially with the hunger biting deep into their stomach with no hope in sight.
