In today’s world, where effective transportation is vital for economic growth, tapping into the aviation market with new international airports has become a key focus for regional development.
In line with this, the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has approved Kogi State Government’s bid to build an international airport in the Zariagi community of the state.
On Friday, State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, announced the approval in a press release.

However, he explained that the new airport would serve ten other states, alleviating traffic on the Lokoja-Abuja road and reducing congestion at Abuja’s International Airport.
