Taylor Swift has donated $5 million to aid recovery efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, according to a statement from Feeding America.
Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America, expressed gratitude on Instagram, saying, “We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation.”
“This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.”
The singer has a history of contributing during times of crisis. Last December, she donated $1 million to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund after deadly tornadoes struck the state, claiming the lives of six people, including two children.
In addition, she supported food banks during her U.K. Eras Tour in June, reportedly funding 10,800 meals for those in need across several stops.
