This incident occurred last week at his bar in Ogun State.

The artist, famous for his hit song ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ had confronted and slapped the preacher

Also, this led to a storm of criticism on social media.

Among those who criticised him was gospel artist, Testimony Jaga, who demanded that Portable issue an apology within three days.

The pressure from the public and religious communities pushed Portable to reconsider his actions.

In a recently shared video, Portable was seen on his knees, visibly distressed and shedding tears as he expressed deep regret for his behaviour.

God is the king. Jesus is here,” the singer said, making a heartfelt plea for forgiveness.

Testimony Jaga, who was also present at Portable’s nightclub, spoke in support of the singer.

He said: “I want to convey this message to all the pastors worldwide. I am your son. My brother here is your son. Whatever he has done, we apologise”.

However, this marks Portable’s second apology.

Last week, he issued a public statement, explaining that he would not have slapped the preacher had he known the man was a “true servant of God”.
