TG Omori, a celebrated Nigerian music video director, recently revealed that he underwent a kidney transplant surgery in Lagos.
The director shared this heartbreaking news in a statement posted on his official X account.
On Wednesday he disclosed that the surgery was not successful.
TG Omori has been battling a kidney ailment for the past year.
He expresses his deep concern over the outcome of the surgery.
He called on his fans and well-wishers to keep him in their prayers as he continues to fight this serious health condition.
“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicholas, Lagos. Pray for me,” he wrote
In a previous post, TG Omori shared that his only brother had selflessly donated a kidney to him in a bid to save his life.
The transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.
The director expressed his profound gratitude for his brother’s sacrifice.
“Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” TG Omori wrote in a heartfelt message on X.
He also took to his Instagram story to share images of himself lying on a hospital bed, receiving oxygen.
